1. Acceptance of Terms and who we are
These Terms govern your use of cookAIfood.com (the "Services"), operated by cookAIfood, Spain ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected]. By accessing or using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services. You must be at least 16 years old.
2. Use of Services
You agree to use the Services in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws. You may not: (a) use the Services for illegal purposes; (b) attempt unauthorized access; (c) disrupt the Services; (d) collect information about other users without consent; or (e) upload photos of people or content you do not have the right to use.
3. Account
You must create an account to use the Services. You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality and all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Credits and payments
Some features use credits. Prices and what a credit buys are shown before you pay. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Payments are processed by Stripe or, where offered, in cryptocurrency. Credits are digital content that you use as soon as you generate something, so purchases are non-refundable unless the law requires it or there was a billing error; write to [email protected] and we will review it. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these Terms.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you create (recipes, photos, etc.). By publishing content on the Services you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute it on the platform. Recipes created on the free plan are published automatically and are visible to everyone; paid plans can keep recipes private. You promise that you have the rights to what you upload. The Services and their underlying technology remain our property.
6. AI-generated content
Recipes, menus and images are generated by AI, may be inaccurate or not unique, and are provided for cooking inspiration only. Nutrition values and diet labels are estimates. Check ingredients, allergens and food safety yourself. Nothing on the Services is medical or dietary advice. We cannot guarantee that AI output is free of third-party rights. See How we use AI.
7. Reporting content
If you think a recipe, image or profile is illegal or infringes your rights, tell us at [email protected] with the link and the reason. We review reports and may remove content that breaks these Terms or the law.
8. Privacy and cookies
Your privacy is important to us. We process personal data as described in the Privacy Policy and use cookies as described in the Cookie Policy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. This does not affect any warranty or remedy that the law gives you as a consumer.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence and for your rights as a consumer.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Services and disable your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect the Services or other users. We may also change or end the Services.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Spanish law, without removing the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where we have your email, announced there. The date below shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
