Red Wine Jelly (Jalea de Vino Tinto)

A delicate and flavorful jelly made from rich red wine, sugar, and citrus, perfect as a spread or accompaniment to cheeses and desserts.

Steps

1. Pour cold water into a small bowl and sprinkle gelatin over it; let it bloom for 5 minutes. 2. In a saucepan, combine red wine, sugar, and lemon juice; heat gently over medium heat until sugar dissolves. 3. Remove the wine mixture from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved. 4. Pour the mixture into a small mold or jar and let it cool to room temperature. 5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set. 6. Serve chilled as a jelly spread or with cheese and crackers.
