Kung Pao Chicken Stir-Fry

A flavorful and spicy Chinese stir-fry dish with tender chicken, peanuts, and vegetables.

Steps

1. Cut chicken into small cubes. Marinate with soy sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt. 2. Heat oil in a pan, stir-fry chicken until cooked. Remove from pan. 3. In the same pan, add more oil and sauté garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. 4. Add peanuts, bell pepper, and onion. Stir-fry until vegetables are tender. 5. Mix in chicken, hoisin sauce, vinegar, and sugar. Cook for another minute. 6. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve hot.

1 boneless, skinless chicken breast; 1/4 cup peanuts; 1 bell pepper; 1/2 onion; 2 cloves garlic; 1-inch ginger; 2 tbsp soy sauce; 1 tbsp vinegar; 1 tbsp hoisin sauce; 1 tbsp cornstarch; 1 tsp sugar; 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes; Cooking oil; Salt and pepper to taste.
