Steps
1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, chili flakes, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
2. Add the sliced beef to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 20 minutes.
3. Thread the marinated beef strips onto the skewer stick in a curled fashion.
4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and cook the beef skewer for 2-3 minutes on each side until caramelized and cooked through.
5. Garnish with sliced green onion and serve warm as a cocktail appetizer.
