Steps
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

4. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
5. If desired, fold in chopped nuts and desiccated coconut.
6. Roll the dough into small balls and flatten them slightly. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden.
