Steps

1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm, but not boiling. 2. Stir in the sugar, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt until well combined. 3. Break the digestive biscuits into small pieces and add them to the saucepan. 4. Stir gently to coat the biscuits in the milk mixture and allow them to soak for about 5 minutes. 5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before transferring to a serving dish. 6. Top with chopped nuts or chocolate chips if desired. 7. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to set before serving.
