
Steps
- In a small pot, bring the water to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the dashi granules until fully dissolved.
- Add the cut nori strips and let them steep for about 2 minutes.
- Stir in the soy sauce and a pinch of salt to taste.
- If using, add tofu cubes or mushrooms and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onion before serving.
