Steps
1. Boil the egg for 8 minutes until hard-boiled. Cool, peel, and chop.
2. In a bowl, combine sliced cucumber, chopped egg, a pinch of salt, and rice vinegar if using. Set aside.
3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
4. Add beef and chicken slices to the pan, stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper to the meat mixture, stir well.
6. Drizzle sesame oil over the stir-fry if desired, then remove from heat.
7. Serve the garlic beef and chicken stir-fry alongside the cucumber egg salad.
