Creamy Brie and Potato Gratin

A rich and comforting gratin featuring tender sliced potatoes baked with creamy crème fraîche and melted Brie cheese, perfect as a decadent side or light main dish.

Steps

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). 2. Lightly grease a small baking dish with olive oil. 3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes on the bottom of the dish. 4. Sprinkle minced garlic, salt, and pepper over the potatoes. 5. Add half of the Brie slices evenly over the potatoes. 6. Spread 1.5 tbsp of crème fraîche over the Brie. 7. Repeat the layering with the remaining potatoes, garlic, salt, pepper, Brie, and crème fraîche. 8. Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves on top if using. 9. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. 10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly. 11. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
