Deconstructed Latte with Groundcherry

A modern twist on the classic latte, this deconstructed version separates the coffee, milk foam, and sweet groundcherries for a playful and fresh tasting experience.

Steps

1. Brew a strong shot of espresso or coffee and set aside. 2. In a small bowl, whip the heavy cream with the vanilla extract until soft peaks form. 3. Warm the milk gently in a saucepan or microwave until hot but not boiling. 4. Froth the warm milk using a frother or whisk until foamy. 5. In a serving glass, add the groundcherries at the bottom. 6. Pour the brewed espresso carefully over the groundcherries. 7. Add sugar or honey to the warm milk and stir well. 8. Slowly pour the frothy milk over the espresso and groundcherries. 9. Top with a dollop of the vanilla whipped cream. 10. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top. 11. Serve immediately, allowing the eater to mix the components as they enjoy.
