Steps

1. Preheat a panini press or skillet over medium heat. 2. Brush both sides of the bologna slices with maple syrup. 3. Spread Dijon mustard on one side of each bread slice. 4. Place one slice of bread mustard-side up on a clean surface. 5. Layer the maple-glazed bologna on the bread, then add the cheddar cheese. 6. Top with the second slice of bread, mustard-side down. 7. Butter the outer sides of the sandwich lightly. 8. Place the sandwich in the panini press or skillet. 9. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the bread is golden brown and crispy and the cheese is melted, flipping once if using a skillet. 10. Remove, slice, and serve warm.
