Steps
1. In a skillet, heat the butter over medium heat until melted.
2. Toast the slices of bread in the melted butter until golden brown on both sides.
3. In a bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, black beans, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
4. On one slice of toasted bread, layer the beef and bean mixture evenly.
5. Add the sliced bananas on top of the beef and beans.
6. Drizzle with hot sauce if using, and then top with the second slice of toasted bread.
7. Serve immediately, cutting the sandwich in half for easier handling.
