A delicious American-style sandwich made with tender pulled pork braised in beer, served on a paleo-friendly bun.
1. Season the pork shoulder with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and dried oregano. 2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork shoulder on all sides until browned. 3. Transfer the pork shoulder to a slow cooker. 4. In the same skillet, sauté the sliced onion and minced garlic until softened. 5. Pour the beer into the skillet and deglaze, scraping up any browned bits. 6. Pour the beer mixture over the pork shoulder in the slow cooker. 7. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily pulled apart. 8. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. 9. Serve the pulled pork on paleo-friendly buns.
