Spiced Aloo Chicken Curry

A comforting and flavorful dish combining tender chicken pieces with soft potatoes simmered in a rich, spiced tomato gravy. Perfect for a hearty solo meal.

Steps

1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. 2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. 3. Stir in garlic and ginger paste; cook for 1 minute. 4. Add turmeric, red chili powder, and garam masala; mix well. 5. Add pureed tomato and cook until oil separates from the masala. 6. Add chicken cubes, salt, and cook for 5 minutes until chicken starts to brown. 7. Add diced potatoes and water. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until chicken and potatoes are cooked through. 8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or bread.
