Spinach and Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breast

A tender chicken breast filled with a savory mixture of spinach, garlic, and creamy cheese, baked to golden perfection and served on a plate for a wholesome meal.

Steps

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the chicken breast horizontally to create a pocket, being careful not to cut all the way through. In a small bowl, mix chopped spinach, cream cheese, mozzarella, and minced garlic. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper. Stuff the chicken breast pocket with the spinach and cheese mixture. Secure the opening with toothpicks to keep the filling inside. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken breast for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through. Remove toothpicks before serving.
