Swiss Steak with Brie Cream and Crispy Pommes de Terre

Steps

1. Peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes for pommes de terre. 2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the potatoes until golden and crispy, about 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. 3. Season the steak with salt and pepper. 4. In another pan, melt butter over medium-high heat and cook the steak to desired doneness (about 3-4 minutes per side for medium). 5. Lower heat, place slices of Brie on top of the steak, cover the pan, and let the cheese melt for 2 minutes. 6. Remove the steak and Brie from the pan and keep warm. 7. Stir crème fraîche into the pan juices with a pinch of thyme to create a creamy sauce. 8. Plate the pommes de terre, place the steak with melted Brie on top, and drizzle with the crème fraîche sauce. 9. Serve immediately.
