Steps

1. Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C). 2. In a small bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. 3. Mix in the vanilla extract and egg yolk until fully combined. 4. Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt until a dough forms. 5. Fold in the mini chocolate chips. 6. Shape the dough into a small ball and flatten slightly. 7. Place the cookie dough on a small piece of parchment paper or a silicone mat that fits your air fryer basket. 8. Air fry for 8–10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. 9. Let the cookie cool for a few minutes before enjoying.
