
Steps
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
- In a bowl, combine the grated Pecorino Romano cheese and cracked black pepper.
- Add the hot pasta to the cheese mixture, tossing to coat, and gradually add reserved pasta water until creamy.
- Serve immediately with additional cheese and pepper on top if desired.
