Steps
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
2. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
3. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
4. In a bowl, combine the grated Pecorino Romano cheese and cracked black pepper.
5. Add the hot pasta to the cheese mixture, tossing to coat, and gradually add reserved pasta water until creamy.
6. Serve immediately with additional cheese and pepper on top if desired.
