Steps

1. Remove the steak from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes. 2. Season both sides of the steak generously with salt and black pepper. 3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. 4. Add the steak to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness. 5. Reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. 6. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steak continuously for 1-2 minutes. 7. Remove steak from skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes. 8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
