Steps

1. Preheat oven to 370F/185C. 2. Heat the butter in a small pan and brush it all over the Kataifi pastry, making sure it is mixed evenly. 3. Put the Kataifi pastry in an oven dish, spread it evenly and then put it in the oven for 15 minutes or until it turns crunchy and golden. 4. Remove from the oven and turn it to the serving plate. 5. Spread the cheese over the Kataifi and top with almonds. 6. Heat the syrup in a small pan until it starts to boil. 7. Pour the syrup over the Kataifi. 8. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. 9. Serve warm or cold!
