In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering. 4. Add the steak to the skillet and sear without moving for about 4 minutes until a crust forms. 5. Flip the steak and cook for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare (internal temperature of about 130°F / 54°C). 6.
