Steps
1. Remove the steak from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
2. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Add the steak to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached.
5. In the last minute of cooking, add the butter, garlic, and herbs to the pan. Spoon the melted butter over the steak as it finishes cooking.
6. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
7. Slice the steak against the grain and serve drizzled with the garlic herb butter.
