Sweet & Savory Donut Bun Burger

A playful twist on the classic burger, featuring a soft glazed donut as the bun, paired with a juicy beef patty, crispy bacon, melted cheddar, and a hint of tangy maple mustard sauce for the perfect sweet and savory balance.

Steps

1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat. 2. Season the ground beef patty with salt and pepper. 3. Cook the beef patty in the skillet for 3-4 minutes per side until desired doneness. 4. During the last minute, place cheddar cheese on the patty to melt. 5. In a separate pan, cook the bacon slices until crispy. 6. Mix maple syrup and Dijon mustard to create the maple mustard sauce. 7. Lightly butter the cut sides of the donut and toast them in the skillet until golden. 8. Assemble the burger: spread maple mustard sauce on the bottom donut half, add lettuce and tomato slices, place the cheesy patty on top, then bacon, and finally the top donut half. 9. Serve immediately and enjoy the sweet and savory explosion.
