Tomato Rice with Paneer Butter

A comforting and delicious dish combining the tanginess of tomatoes, the richness of butter paneer, and fluffy rice. Perfect for a quick meal that satisfies your taste buds.

Steps

1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then soak it for 15 minutes. 2. In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat, add cumin seeds and let them splutter. 3. Add the chopped tomatoes and sauté until soft, then stir in turmeric and salt. 4. Add the paneer cubes and cook for 2-3 minutes until they slightly brown. 5. Drain the rice and add it to the pot, mixing with the tomato and paneer mixture. 6. Pour in 2 cups of water, bring to a boil, then cover and simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes until the rice is cooked. 7. Fluff the rice with a fork and garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
