
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine the diced apple, breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Carefully cut a slit in each pork chop to create a pocket for the stuffing.
- Stuff each pork chop with the apple mixture, pressing it gently to ensure it stays inside.
- Season the outside of the pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the pork chops on both sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Remove the pork chops from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
