Vegetarian Bean and Carrot Burger

A delicious and healthy vegetarian burger made with beans, carrots, and oatmeal, served with lettuce and pickles.

Steps

1. In a mixing bowl, mash the cooked beans using a fork or potato masher. 2. Add grated carrots, oatmeal, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, dried oregano, dried basil, and breadcrumbs to the mashed beans. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined. 3. Shape the mixture into a patty and set aside. 4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. 5. Place the bean and carrot patty in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. 6. Toast the burger bun. 7. Place the cooked patty on the bottom half of the bun. 8. Top with lettuce and pickles. 9. Cover with the top half of the bun. 10. Serve and enjoy!
