Arabian Falafel Sandwich

A delicious and authentic Arab sandwich filled with crispy falafel, fresh vegetables, and tangy tahini sauce.

Steps

1. Soak the chickpeas in water overnight. Drain well. 2. In a food processor, combine the soaked chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, baking soda, and salt. Pulse until the mixture becomes a coarse paste. 3. Transfer the falafel mixture to a bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour. 4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C). 5. Shape the falafel mixture into small patties and carefully drop them into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels. 6. Warm the pita bread in a toaster or oven. 7. Cut the pita bread in half and stuff it with falafel patties, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion, and drizzle with tahini sauce. 8. Serve the Arabian Falafel Sandwich immediately and enjoy!
