Arabian Layered Baklava

This classic Arab dessert combines layers of flaky phyllo dough encasing a mixture of walnuts, cinnamon, and honey syrup. Perfect as a special after-dinner treat!

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. In a small bowl, mix together walnuts, cinnamon, and agave syrup. 3. Layer one sheet of phyllo dough onto baking sheet, lightly brush melted butter onto the dough. 4. Layer the second sheet of phyllo dough, lightly brush melted butter onto the dough. 5. Spread walnut mixture on top of the second layer of phyllo dough. 6. Layer third sheet of phyllo dough, lightly brush melted butter. 7. Layer fourth sheet of phyllo dough, lightly brush melted butter. 8. Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden in color. 9. Let cool before serving.
