Steps
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a pan, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the fat in the pan.
3. In the same pan, add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3 minutes.
4. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
5. Pour in the red wine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
6. Stir in the tomato sauce, cooked bacon, salt, black pepper, and red paprika. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until well coated. Cook for another 2 minutes.
8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
