Steps
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
