
Steps
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add chopped tomatoes to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook until they soften (about 5-7 minutes).
- Drain the pasta and add it to the pan with the tomatoes. Mix well.
- Remove from heat and stir in the grated cheese until melted and well combined.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil leaves if desired.
