Katlat is a traditional snack made from mashed potatoes mixed with spices and herbs, shaped into patties and pan-fried until golden and crispy. Served hot, these patties make a delicious appetizer or side dish.

Steps

1. In a bowl, combine the mashed potato, chopped onions, green chili, coriander leaves, cumin powder, red chili powder, salt, and cornflour. 2. Mix all ingredients thoroughly to form a smooth dough-like mixture. 3. Divide the mixture into small portions and shape each into a flat round patty. 4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. 5. Fry each patty for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy. 6. Remove and drain on paper towels. 7. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
