Steps
1. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, and salt.
2. Add water gradually to form a smooth batter.
3. Mix in the sliced potato and onion until they are well coated.
4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
5. Carefully drop spoonfuls of the batter-coated vegetables into the hot oil.
6. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
7. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
8. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
