Spiced Onion, Chili, and Ginger Masala

A flavorful and aromatic Indian-inspired masala made with sautéed onions, fresh chili, ginger, and whole spices. Perfect as a base for curries or as a spicy condiment.

Steps

1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. 2. Add cumin seeds, coriander seeds, cinnamon stick, and cloves. Sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. 3. Add sliced onions and a pinch of salt. Cook until onions turn golden brown. 4. Stir in the chopped chili and grated ginger. Cook for another 2 minutes. 5. Mix well and remove from heat. Use this masala as a base for other dishes or as a spicy topping.
