Steps
1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
4. Once the pasta is done, reserve a little pasta water and drain the rest.
5. Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the garlic butter. Toss to coat.
6. Stir in the chopped herbs, Parmesan cheese, and a splash of reserved pasta water if needed for moisture.
7. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Toss again to combine.
8. Serve hot, garnished with extra herbs and Parmesan if desired.
