Garlic Herb Butter Steak

Steps

1. Remove the steak from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 20 minutes. 2. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper. 3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. 4. Add the steak to the pan and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness. 5. In the last minute of cooking, add the crushed garlic, butter, rosemary, and thyme to the pan. 6. Spoon the melted herb butter over the steak continuously. 7. Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
