Steps
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Place the trout fillet on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
3. Drizzle the olive oil over the trout and rub it in gently.
4. In a small bowl, mix the parsley, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
5. Sprinkle the herb mixture evenly over the trout fillet.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
7. While the fish is baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
8. Stir in the lemon juice and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
9. Once the trout is done, drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the top and garnish with a lemon slice.
10. Serve immediately and enjoy!
