
Steps
- Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter.
- Cook the chicken breast for about 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
- In the last minute of cooking, drizzle honey over the chicken and add the cheese on top to let it melt.
- Toast the bread in the same skillet until golden brown.
- Assemble the sandwich by placing the chicken with melted cheese on one slice of bread.
- Drizzle BBQ sauce over the chicken and add lettuce or spinach if desired.
- Top with the second slice of bread, cut in half, and serve warm.
