Steps
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Place the slices of mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
Drizzle olive oil over the pizza and season with salt and pepper.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
