
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Place the slices of mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
- Drizzle olive oil over the pizza and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
