Steps
1. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until water runs clear. Cook according to package instructions.
2. Once cooked, mix rice vinegar into the rice and let it cool slightly.
3. Place nori sheet on a bamboo mat, spread an even layer of rice over it, leaving a small border at the top.
4. Arrange avocado slices and cucumber strips along the bottom edge of the rice.
5. Carefully roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat, then slice into 6 pieces.
6. For dumplings, combine cabbage, carrot, mushrooms, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl.
7. Place about a teaspoon of filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper.
8. Moisten edges with water, fold wrappers in half, and pinch edges to seal.
9. Steam dumplings in a steamer basket over boiling water for about 8 minutes until wrappers are translucent.
10. Serve sushi with soy sauce and dumplings with dipping sauce.
