Steps

1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. 2. Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until translucent. 3. Add chopped mushrooms and cook until they release moisture and begin to brown. 4. Stir in chopped walnuts and cook for another 2 minutes. 5. Add crushed tomatoes and ground cinnamon; stir well. 6. Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 8. Serve hot over cooked pasta and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
