1. In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg and sugar until combined. 2. Gradually add the milk, continuing to whisk. 3. Sift together the wet flour and cornstarch, then slowly add to the wet ingredients, stirring gently to form a smooth batter. 4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil. 5. Pour a small ladle of batter onto the pan, spreading slightly to form a thin pancake. 6. Cook for about 2 minutes until edges set and bubbles form on the surface. 7. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden and cooked through. 8. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
