
Steps
- Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- Add the cooked rice and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, allowing it to warm up and absorb the flavors.
- Push the rice to one side of the pan and crack the egg into the empty space. Scramble the egg until fully cooked.
- Mix the egg with the rice, then add turmeric, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well to combine.
- If using, stir in the peas and cook for another minute.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
