Steak with Red Pepper Garlic Sauce and Butter-Fried Mushrooms

A juicy, perfectly seared steak topped with a vibrant red pepper garlic sauce, complemented by tender mushrooms fried in rich butter for an indulgent finish.

Steps

1. Roast the red bell pepper over an open flame or under a broiler until charred on all sides. Place in a bowl and cover to steam for 10 minutes. Peel skin, remove seeds, and chop. 2. In a blender, combine the roasted red pepper, garlic cloves, olive oil, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth to make the sauce. 3. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper. 4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust time for desired doneness). Remove steak and let rest. 5. In the same skillet, add butter and melt over medium heat. 6. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden and tender, about 5-6 minutes. Season with a pinch of salt. 7. Plate the steak, spoon the red pepper garlic sauce over the top, and garnish with butter-fried mushrooms. 8. Sprinkle fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
