Steps

2. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, drained tuna, and tomato sauce. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano.
4. Transfer the pasta mixture to a lightly greased baking dish.
5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg and grated cheese until smooth. Pour this mixture over the pasta.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
