
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut a pocket into the side of the chicken breast.
- Season the inside of the pocket with salt and pepper.
- Stuff the pocket with ham and Swiss cheese slices.
- Secure the pocket with toothpicks.
- Beat the egg in a shallow bowl.
- Dip the stuffed chicken breast in the beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken breast until golden brown on both sides.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove toothpicks before serving.
