
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 400 F/200 C.
- Wash and scrub the potatoes and dry them with a paper towel.
- Prick the potatoes several times with a fork.
- Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until they are cooked through.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat.
- Add in the heavy cream and stir to combine.
- Take off the heat and stir in the grated cheese, salt and garlic powder.
- Once the potatoes are done, slice them in a cross-wise pattern and spread open slightly.
- Pour the cheese mixture over the potatoes and place back into the oven for 5-7 minutes.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.

- Ingredients (for 1): 1/2 large potato, 2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons heavy cream, 1/4 cup grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella or Parmesan), 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (or other herbs of your liking)
