Steps
1. In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter, allowing it to melt and coat the pan.
3. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let it sit for a few moments until it begins to set around the edges.
4. Gently stir the eggs with a spatula, folding them over to allow the uncooked egg to flow to the bottom.
5. When the eggs are about halfway cooked, sprinkle the cheese on top and continue to stir until the eggs are fully cooked and the cheese is melted.
6. Serve immediately with a hot cup of brewed coffee on the side. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
