Steps
1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into small meatballs.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides.
4. Remove meatballs and set aside. In the same skillet, sauté onion until translucent.
5. Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
6. Return meatballs to the sauce and cook for another 10 minutes until meatballs are cooked through.
7. Serve meatballs and sauce over spaghetti. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
