Garlic Tomato Cheese Pasta

Steps

1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. 3. Add diced tomatoes to the pan, cook for 5-7 minutes until they soften and release juices. 4. Season with salt and black pepper. 5. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to combine with the tomato garlic sauce. 6. Remove from heat, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top, and cover the pan for 2 minutes to let the cheese melt. 7. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, serve warm.
